DSTV Customers Condemn Poor Services

Image
Despite its success in the Nigerian market, subscribers to Dstv cable service have continued to vent their spleen against the South African brand over alleged poor attitude towards consumer complaints, poor service quality and monopoly of the pay TV market. During the monitoring of complaints by National Mirror on Dstv official Facebook and other social media including Sahara reporter, Dstv subscribers are aggrieved that the pay TV was only after their money than rendering quality service and after sales consumers care. While the pay TV is accused of insensitivity to consumer complaints, Mr. Olusola Olajuyigbe complained that he had been migrated to an unsubscribed platform which he didn’t subscribe to and yet was made to pay for the service. “Per Dstv no 41078149709, Kindly reinstate the no of days of Dstv subscription which I lost to E45 issue and refund the N7,500 which I had to pay: per my decoder because I suspect the inconsistent instructions provided b

"Why I Kept My Renal Failure A Secret" - OJB Jezreel Explains"

Image
"When early diagnosis was done, it was just a case of renal failure. Right now, my two kidneys are gone. We are running dialysis at the moment. It started two years ago, but gradually depreciated. Most people tend to attribute kidney problem to drinking and smoking. I was told it doesn't have anything to do with that, because as much as I drink and smoke then, it was casual drinking. Maybe they offer you a bottle of drink and all that but not like I drink 15 bottles a day. I have a friend who has gone through this and he never drank or smoked. "The whole process of the treatment from pre-process, transplanting process and post-transplanting will cost about $100, 000. In two years I have spent up to N5million which I have been trying to maintain myself. That is why it has been kept secret." "God willing, I have like eight to ten weeks more to get the transplant done. It's strange, I still walk around a little. I can't eat much thoug

Nigerians To Pay 3,000 Pounds To Enter UK

Image
From November, a pilot scheme will target visitors India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Ghana who will have to pay the UK government a form of cash guarantee or deposit to deter immigration abuse. They will forfeit the £3,000 (=N=750,000.00) if they overstay in Britain and fail to return to their home countries by the time their visa has expired. The controversial move by the UK home secretary, Theresa May, to introduce the Australian-style system reflects her determination to show that the Conservatives are serious about cutting immigration in the UK. Ms May said: “This is the next step in making sure our immigration system is more selective, bringing down net migration from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands, while still welcoming the brightest and the best to Britain.” She added: “In the long run we’re interested in a system of bonds that deters overstaying and recovers costs if a foreign national has used our public services.” The Home Of

Mandela Critically Ill Again

Image
Nelson Mandela has become critically ill in hospital, the South African presidency has announced. In a statement, President Jacob Zuma said Mandela’s doctors were “doing everything possible to get his condition to improve”. “He is in good hands,” said Mr. Zuma. BBC   reports that South Africa’s first black president, who is 94, was taken to hospital earlier this month for the third time this year, with a recurrent lung infection. The statement said Zuma had visited Mandela in hospital in Pretoria on Sunday evening and was told the former president’s condition had worsened over the past 24 hours. “The doctors are doing everything possible to get his condition to improve and are ensuring that Madiba is well-looked after and is comfortable. He is in good hands,” said President Zuma, using Mandela’s clan name by which he is widely known in South Africa. Zuma appealed for prayers for Mandela and his medical team.
