Orekoya Kids Found

The mother of the three Orekoya kids, Demola, Adedamola and Aderomola, who were recently declared missing, has announced that they have been found. The kids’ mother, Adebisi Busayo Adekunle Orekoya, took to her Facebook account in the early hours of Wednesday to announce that the kids had been found and reunited with the family since Tuesday. She said: “We give God all the glory. Our Orekooya missing kids have been found. Thank you so much everyone for your prayers and moral and financial support all along. “The list is endless, of awesome mothers, sisters, business partners, father’s and even kids too. You’ve been amazing! “May God grant all your heart desires too. Much love always. She did not however say if any ransom was paid for the kids’ release. Video

What Jonathan told Buhari on phone

A recording of the telephone call by President Goodluck Jonathan to Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) on March 31, congratulating him on his victory at the last Saturday’s presidential election hit the Internet on Thursday. The recording revealed what transpired between the two leaders. President Jonathan had reportedly called Buhari hours before the official declaration of the presidential election results by the Independent National Elect oral Commission that Buhari had won the March 28 presidential poll. KOWA’s Sonaiya congratulates Buhari, says expectations of Nigerians high

Prof. Remi Sonaiya of KOWA Party on Tuesday congratulated Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in the presidential election, and reminded him that the expectations of Nigerians were very high. Sonaiya, the only female among the contestants that lost to Buhari in the March 28 election, congratulated the APC candidate on behalf of her party. In a message sent to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Sonaiya prayed that God would give Buhari the needed wisdom to give Nigerians a better quality of life. While congratulating Buhari, she said: “I also wish to note that the expectations of Nigerians for a better quality of life are very high.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the just-concluded elections, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for voting him and his party to steer the ship of state for the next four years. Buhari said this in an interim message of gratitude to Nigerians in Abuja, on Tuesday. This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of the APC campaign, Mallam Garba Shehu. In the message, Buhari thanked Nigerians “for choosing him and his party over and above the PDP and their candidate, the incumbent President, Dr Jonathan Goodluck.”

Fellow Nigerians, I thank you all for turning out en-masse for the March 28 General Elections. I promised the country free and fair elections. I have kept my word. I have also expanded the space for Nigerians to participate in the democratic process. That is one legacy I will like to see endure. Although some people have expressed mixed feelings about the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I urge those who may feel aggrieved to follow due process based on our constitution and our electoral laws, in seeking redress.
