The resent corruption-rating index published by Transparency International on the 3rd of December shows that Nigeria has moved up 8 spots from its pervious ranking last year. Last year Nigeria ranked 144 out of the 177 countries recorded with a score of 25 over 100.

This year Nigeria has moved up 8 steps to rank 136 out of the 175 countries recorded with a score of 27 over 100. 

Demark, New Zealand and Finland still hold the 1st 2nd and 3rd position respectively from last year ranking with a score of 92, 91, 89 over 100 while North Korea and Somalia still hold the last 2 position from last year ranking with a score of 8 over 100.
